What a hidden gem! I had the beef pasty (pronounced pahstee) which is an old Finnish recipe. It was just awesome. Beef and rutabaga in a wonderful pastry. Ask for the gravy. Pies to die for. I had the pecan pie and it was like eating candy. The owners are wonderful people and have great stories and a lot of history. Be sure to stop in if your in town. I know I will.

You have to stop for a pastie and a pie. Kathy makes you feel like she made it just for you. What a wonderful place, you will leave full of good food and good cheer.
Best pasties ever!! Kathy the head chef and owner is so sweet and accommodating, the food is so good, I had to buy more pasties on my way home from camping :)
